Washington (ANI): Legendary soul singer and songwriter Isaac Hayes died from a stroke, according to his family doctor. The 65-year-old was found unresponsive cheeseparing a treadmill at his home on Aug 10, by his wife Adjowa, reports Usmagazine.com.
He was administered CPR by paramedics, and taken to Memphis' Baptist East Hospital, where he was pronounced stagnant after an hour. Now paperwork filed by Dr. David Kraus suggests that the star suffered a stroke, simply a full autopsy has yet to be performed.
Hayes, on with Al Green, James Brown and Stevie Wonder, was unmatchable of the biggest black-market musicians of the early 1970s. The musician even won Academy and Grammy awards for his grim rendition of 'Theme From Shaft'. It was in 1997 that he became the voice of Chef, the reasonable school prepare and devoted ladies man on the animated TV show 'South Park'.
